Candidate and official accounts

Manage your Ballotbox profile and prepare candidate or official questionnaires through your own account.

How it works

  1. Select your published profile, or tell us about your candidacy or office if we do not list you yet, and create an account. Email is disabled; staff reviews profile access independently.
  2. Find your existing profile and request access. If we do not list you yet, create your profile: we review new profiles before they appear on the site.
  3. Staff independently verifies your identity or representative authority and checks the exact office, election, or current term.
  4. Save private drafts of your profile and questionnaire answers. Once your access is approved, submit your updates for publication review.

Creating an account does not publish a profile or confirm ballot placement. Your account email and verification information remain private. Public contact information is selected separately.

Verified owners can invite team members to specific permissions with an expiration date. Submitting changes and managing team access requires two-factor authentication.
